Removing barriers: This year we are offering a class called "Women in Woodworking". This course lets these gals work in an environment free from those pesky boys. This is one way we can offer female students a chance to explore opportunities in the trades.
This morning the HS cross country team traveled to Wausau East High School for the Smiley Invite. The girls ran a great race and the weather was beautiful! Thank you to Mr. Peck for driving today and thanks to all our fans who traveled to support us. We greatly appreciate it!
The top 20 runners for the junior varsity race for Divisions II and III combined took home medals. Sydney Peck took 16th place, received a medal, and set a new PR with a time of 26 minutes 34.9 seconds. That is a new PR by 1 minute 3.4 seconds. Tessa Macik-Smith took 19th place, received a medal, and had a time of 27 minutes 14.5 seconds. Angelina Smith also set a new PR with a time of 27 minutes 53.9 seconds. That is a new PR by 1 minute 3.8 seconds. Congratulations to the HS cross country team on a job well done!
The HS team's next meet is Tuesday, September 24th, at Camp Lucerne in Neshkoro.
The Fitness Center will be closed on Friday 9/20.

Strike up Some Fun
The Lady Penguins took 3rd in the 16 team varsity tournament on Friday and Saturday at the JAG in Wisconsin Dells. They are now 19-3 heading into the conference season opener this Tuesday where they will host Pacelli on senior night. The dress up theme is white. The JV match starts at 5:45 pm followed by the varsity. Go Lady Penguins!

The TC varsity soccer team traveled to Coulee Christian today and won 6-4. Way to go Penguins!
This morning the MS and HS cross country team traveled to Nekoosa High School. It was a beautiful morning and the everyone ran very well. The top five runners for each varsity race medaled and four of the Penguins brought home medals! Sydney Peck took 1st place and set a new PR with a time of 27 minutes 38.3 seconds. Congratulations! Tessa Macik-Smith took 2nd place, Angelina Smith took 4th, and Emily Bohn took 5th place. Congratulations everyone on a great meet!
Thank you to our bus driver for driving us, the managers for doing an awesome job with mile splits, and our fans who came out to support us! The HS team will run at the Smiley Invite next Saturday, September 14th, at Wausau East High School.
The Lady Penguins went 2-1 today beating Elcho and Alma-Pepin. We lost a hard fought battle with Division 3 Abundant Life Christian -Ambrose. 23-25, 25-19, 14-16. These scores speak volumes about where we have come and the places we are going! Go get "em tomorrow Ladies!
TC Athletic Schedule for Sept. 16-21st
Great win by the Tri-County varsity soccer team over Bowler/Gresham with a score of 9 to 1. It was a team effort with goals from 6 different players.
Tonight the MS and HS cross country teams travelled to Manawa. The MS boys ran a great race with good times. Then we ran into a delay due to thunder and lightning. When the HS girls raced, they did a fantastic job! All five girls ran between one and three and a half minutes faster than their last meet at Iola. Congratulations to all of them! Sydney Peck set a new personal record of 28 minutes 4.2 seconds, which is 1 minute 17.19 seconds faster than her race at Iola! Congratulations Sydney! Keep up the great work Penguins! Thanks to Mr. Peck, all our fans and the managers for everything tonight. We greatly appreciate all of you!
The cross country teams travel to Nekoosa High School this Saturday, September 14th. The MS boys will run at 9 A.M., and the HS girls will run at 9:30 A.M. We hope to see you there!
The Lady Penguins won another quad tonight in Greenwood We improved our record to 14-1 beating Thorp, Augusta, and Greenwood. We enter into a weekend tournament this Friday and Saturday in Wisconsin Dells. Go Penguins!!!
