Artist of the Week - Breanna Vogt is an 8th grade student in Art Class. Breanna did an excellent job with all of her artwork and many of her pieces will be in our art show in May. For Breanna's last project, she got free choice for her "Deign Your Own" project. Breanna chose to create these adorable stuffed felt animals. She created a paper template of her designs, cut out her felt pieces, sewed them together and stuffed them for a nice 3D look.

🏆 NEW SCHOOL RECORD!
Huge congratulations to our very own Armando Garcia for shattering the Tri-County school record in the deadlift! 🏋️♂️💥
With grit, determination, and a whole lot of iron, he successfully pulled a massive 500 lbs, setting a new bar for excellence in our weight room. This achievement is a testament to the countless hours of hard work and discipline put in behind the scenes.

Around the World in 80 Trays is a statewide event with the purpose of increasing global flavors in USDA School Meals Programs! DPI would like to acknowledge that food can do more than just nourish the body, but it can offer an invitation to explore the diverse cultures of Wisconsin students. Students at Tri-County had the opportunity to participate in this promotion January 19-22. The Food Services Team took the staff and students around the world and gave them the opportunity to try different foods. Monday we visited Hawaii and enjoyed Loco Moco with Hawaiian pasta salad. Tuesday we visited Mexico and had the chance to try chicken al pastor tacos, rice, corn dip/chips, fresh pico, and churros. Wednesday found us in Cuba where we enjoyed Cuban sandwiches made with fresh roasted pork served with black beans, and chips. Thursday we wrapped up our travels in Germany where the students had Bavarian meatball sandwiches, german potato salad, and Black Forest cake. We hope everyone enjoyed this experience and the chance to enjoy new foods.

Our high school STEAM class recently had the opportunity to visit both the EAA Museum and the Fox Valley Technical College Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center. At the EAA Museum, students explored the exhibits and gained hands-on experience using the flight simulators. They also toured the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center, where they spoke with an instructor and learned about real-world applications and career pathways in advanced manufacturing.
Thank you to the EAA Museum for welcoming our students and to Fox Valley Technical College for taking the time to provide such an informative and engaging tour. These experiences are invaluable in helping our students connect classroom learning to future career opportunities.

Artist of the Week - Parker Thoren is a freshman in 3D Art Class. This is Parker's first time throwing on the potter's wheel. Her goal was to create 5 pieces and glaze them in an interesting way. Parker did a fantastic job! All of her pottery pieces turned out great and she put in good effort when deciding how to glaze them. Parker is an outstanding student here at Tri-County and is always very creative.
