Tonight the HS cross country team travelled to Camp Lucerne for the Wautoma/Wild Rose Invite. Everyone ran well! Jacob ran in the Novice (Varsity) race and finished with a time of 25 minutes 21.34 seconds. Angelina Smith and Addison Peck ran in the Novice (Varsity) race. Angelina finished with a time of 29 minutes 58.8 seconds, and Addison finished with a time of 35 minutes 21.74 seconds. Emily Bohn ran in the Junior Varsity race, and finished with a time of 36 minutes and 22.16 seconds. Zoriah Mills and Sarah Hicks ran in the Masters (Varsity) race. Zoriah finished with a time of 23 minutes 52.34 seconds, placed 13th, and received a medal. Sarah finished with a time of 26 minutes 36.45 seconds. The top five for JV medaled as well as the top fifteen for the Novice and Masters races. Well done Penguins! Thank you to our bus driver and fans for coming out to support us! We greatly appreciate it!

The middle school football game scheduled on 9/19 has been cancelled due to Gresham/Bowler not having enough players.
On Tuesday, August 29th, the Tri-County MS and HS cross country teams ran at their first meet of the season at Iola-Scandinavia. Everyone ran a great race, especially those who have never run in a cross country meet before. The team encouraged each other and stayed positive throughout the meet. Thank you to all the parents and staff who made it out to watch the Penguins run. We greatly appreciate it! The teams are headed to Manawa for their second meet on Tuesday, September 5th (the first day of school). Keep it up Penguins! 🏃♀️🏃♂️

"I have been in this for what will be my 4th season. My goal is not only to build a winning culture on the field but the growth the athletes have off the field. I want these athletes to learn the game of football while learning life long lessons. As a coach in the Tri-County School District, I want our athletes to see the support from our community and build our community into what we are building in our school. I love to see what our school has been able to do to build the youth and the increase in attendance in youth sports overall. This off season I had the honor of coaching over 350 youth athletes at the AJ Dillion football camp at Titletown in Green Bay. I am excited to see what this season brings. Go Penguins!
